At the heart of Let it Shine Academy is our passionate and highly experienced Director, Mrs. Greta Babaian, who brings over 23 years of expertise in early childhood education. With a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Human Development, she combines deep academic knowledge with a lifelong dedication to nurturing the whole child.
Mrs. Greta is a Sacramento Board Certified Mentor for Teachers, proudly supporting and guiding the next generation of early childhood educators. She is also Class-System certified and leads STEM-based classrooms, integrating hands-on learning that sparks curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity in young learners.
For many years, she served as the Lead Educator at Head Start, where she championed inclusive, developmentally appropriate learning environments and strong family partnerships. Her approach is rooted in emotional support, creative expression, and child-centered growth, ensuring every child feels seen, safe, and inspired.
